Onsite IT Support
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
Wella Australia is seeking a freelancer to provide ongoing onsite IT support for our office in Sydney CBD.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
This role will be focused on end user, and meeting support, including supporting the other Wella locations around Australia / New Zealand remotely. You will be accountable for quality support of IT local service including management of local IT support such as Help Desk (Laptop and software) Video Conference support, VIP services.
- Planning and managing the local IT operation
- Reporting the service level to IT leadership
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company
- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
- Provide VIP services to local leadership (CEO and staff)
- Resolve issues for staff via phone, in person, or electronically
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Create and maintain tips and tricks solutions
- Provide introductory on-line & classroom training for newcomers or ongoing
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, other regional languages a plus
- Experience in team management
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- 3+ years managerial experience in IT support for mid-large size companies
- Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
- In depth knowledge of Windows and desktop applications, Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365, AV equipment, and general IT infrastructure activities.
- Experience in 3rd party management ITSM tools (ServiceNow) is a plus
This role will work closely with our internal IT team based in APAC. Please note: this is a part time opportunity with only ~20 hours per week required. This could be working Tuesday and Thursday (preferred) or reduced hours across Monday to Friday. Person is required to physically be onsite.
