I need a freelancer to simulate a DDoS attack using OMNet++.
Type of DDoS attack to simulate one of the below Flood:
- TCP Flood
- UDP Flood
The simulation will contain one server and a number of clients. The following statuses are required:
- A normal status: normal network traffic is going on.
- An Attack Status: There is a DDos attack going on.
- There should be a help document or video clip describing how the project is working clearly and all related parameters.
Simulation duration:
- Less than 1 hour
Ideal skills and experience:
- Strong knowledge and experience in OMNet++ and network simulation
- Familiarity with different types of DDoS attacks and their characteristics
- Understanding of rate-limiting techniques and their implementation in network simulations
- Ability to analyze and interpret simulation results
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
