I need a seasoned administrator to jump in remotely and strengthen both my network monitoring and overall configuration. The immediate priority is traffic analysis: I want clear, real-time visibility into who or what is using bandwidth and the ability to trace anomalies back to their source. Once accurate data is flowing in, we can refine switch, router, and firewall settings so the network runs smoother and follows current best practices.
Here’s what I have in mind:
• Audit the existing topology and current configs
• Recommend and deploy an end-to-end traffic-analysis solution—Wireshark, flow collectors, or another tool you trust
• Build intuitive dashboards and set up alerting rules for abnormal usage patterns
• Tweak and document network configuration changes that you apply so they’re easy for me to maintain
Deliverables are complete when I can open a dashboard, pinpoint top talkers in seconds, receive automatic alerts on unusual spikes, and pull down a change log showing every config update you made.
