Mikrotik Hex Router Setup Expert Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a professional to set up my Mikrotik Hex router before I install it at the resort. Currently, I have a functioning wifi system with two switches connected to seven access points.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Mikrotik routers and networking. Please include any relevant experience you have with Mikrotik. I would like to do the initial setup of the router for testing at my location before it goes live at the resort.
I will furnish access to my computer for configuration purposes and will have my isp connected to a switch will be connected to an access point. Photo 1 When configuration is done we should be able to disconnect the Mikrotik from my computer and plug it into the switch. At this point we should be able to go to the access point Photo 2 (Huna Casa) and when clicked on it should redirect to the Mikrotik login page.
I did hire a freelancer to do this project but when I was gone for 3 days on business and came back he had filed a dispute requesting the release of the milestone even though the project was not complete. The freelancer lost the dispute and even though I like him and communication was good I will not hire him again.
The Mikrotik router does work on local host when connected to my computer but doesn’t work in live mode. Something is wrong in the configuration so it may be something simple.
IP address is set to 10.0.0.1
Three users have been added with logins and bandwith limits
Many other settings have been done but I have no clue and that is why I’m hiring a freelancer to get this to work.
We do have 7 Tapo cameras connected to the ssid login of several of the access points directly so hopefully they will not be affected.
Please feel free to ask questions. English language is mandatory but doesn’t have to be perfect.
