Lab Network & Hardware Support
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I run a busy online-examination centre and need two hands-on network engineers who can keep the entire computer lab running smoothly day in, day out. The backbone of the room is a set of routers and switches that must stay healthy at all times; every workstation is Windows-based and any outage can halt an exam session instantly.
Your day will revolve around preventive checks, quick-fire troubleshooting and clean documentation. Network duties include monitoring the routers/switches, replacing cables or faulty ports on the spot, and managing basic VLAN or IP changes when candidate volumes spike. On the hardware side most of the pain points come from peripheral devices that suddenly stop responding—think keyboards, biometric scanners, printers, headsets. I expect you to diagnose, repair or swap them fast enough that candidates never notice.
I’m looking for two engineers so we can cover the full exam schedule without gaps. If you’re comfortable with Windows administration, switch CLI basics and can keep calm when a USB scanner dies thirty seconds before an exam, you’ll fit right in.
Deliverables that matter to me:
• Zero-downtime handover between both engineers
• A concise daily log of network status, incidents and fixes
• Immediate resolution or documented escalation for any peripheral failure within the session window
Let me know your availability and how quickly you can be on site.
