Integrate FreeRADIUS with Ribbon SBC
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I already have FreeRADIUS running and the Ribbon SBC in production; what I am missing is the glue between them so I can capture quality-of-service information in real time. The aim is straightforward: every call that passes through the SBC should send RADIUS accounting packets containing bandwidth usage, latency and packet-loss details, and FreeRADIUS should write those figures into my database.
You will need to:
• Configure the correct Ribbon vendor dictionary and attribute mapping on both the SBC and FreeRADIUS.
• Adjust FreeRADIUS accounting modules so the three metrics—bandwidth, latency, packet loss—are written to my existing SQL schema (or guide me on extending the schema if required).
• Provide a concise test plan and demonstrate at least one completed call where the QoS fields appear in the database with accurate values.
Authentication and authorization are already handled, so the focus is strictly on accounting for QoS. A working set of configuration files, any custom scripts, and clear rollback instructions will be the final deliverables.
