Home WIFI connection and speed

Two story house and just installed a Orbi mesh network with a new net gear router. My previous luxul router and network was getting slow but this is just as slow if not worst. Seems the locations of Orbi satellites and the configuration could be at issues so need someone with networking expertise to help improve speed and security. The PC’s used are MAC”s so you need to be familiar with Mac’s and apple devices.
