The project detail is as follows:
Complete a project that will include a paper submission and two file uploads analyzing at least 5 different conversations and two particular types of network traffic and a presentation that summarizes your network traffic analysis). If any information is reworded from the internet or any other sources, APA citations must be provided.
Wireshark capture/Paper on analysis requirements:

• Unique protocol network analysis subjects are NTP and Stateless DHCP for IPv6
• A technical environment is created in order to capture packets that include the selected protocols.
• Wireshark or a debug all file capture(s) are used to capture all network traffic including the selected protocol.
• In Wireshark, traffic is filtered so the selected protocols can be analyzed. Note this may be two separate filtered analysis depending on the protocols chosen. If using Cisco equipment, one or more very specific debugs are saved to file(s).
• The filtered data will be saved and uploaded as second Wireshark or debug files. Note that if two filtered files or captured debug files are used, upload both files.
• The paper shall include a paragraph that explains the two main protocols including each one’s purpose and usage in the corporate environment. Note that a paragraph should be a minimum of three (3) sentences.
• The paper shall include a minimum of four (4) screenshots that have specific talking points within the analysis part of the paper. At least one of the screenshots includes the date/time on the computer the screenshot was taken.
• The paper shall include a detailed analysis of the protocols and traffic captured. Do not forget to briefly describe the five (5) conversations that are part of the full capture.
• The paper shall include a discussion on how a network technician might need or use this information in an applicable corporate scenario and/or troubleshooting situation(s).
