French/English Speaking IT Consultant/Project Manager

Job Title:
IT Consultant / Project Manager (French Speaking)
Background:
BEM Services are currently delivering an IT system design for our Client for several 80 bed hospitals in Zambia and have been invited to design the IT systems for 6 x Hospitals in Côte d'Ivoire (CI). The first of the hospitals is currently under construction and scheduled for completion in June 2022. The remaining hospitals are staggered at 1-2 month intervals.
Role:
BEM Services are seeking a French Speaking IT Design Consultant, to assist them with I.T infrastructure design projects in Africa.
-To liaise with the client / stakeholders in French, and report back to BEM in English. This will include other contractors working on this project and approvals authorities in CI.
-Working with our English IT Designer to produce a set of French language design documents drawn from the BEM Services English version design.
-Review of French language design drawings and documents to ensure our IT design is fully compatible with the installed systems.
Experience Required:
-Must be French + English speaking.
-Someone that is technically minded with a working knowledge of the following IT equipment and software and can understand technical drawings.
-Ideally has knowledge of IT Hardware: Dell PowerEdge Servers, Network Switches and work stations, CAT6A and Fibre Optic network wiring.
-Ideally has knowledge of IT Software: Windows Server 2019, Hyper-V, SQL Server, MS365.
Hours + Pay:
-Ad-Hoc requirement, 100-160 hours expected over a 3-4 month period.
-Initially 4-6hours per week, increasing later on as the design is developed towards submission.
-Remote working via MS Teams typically.
-£30-70/hr
-Opportunity for further work depending on the success of the contract.
-Immediate start.
