Fix Hikrobot Scanner PC Connection
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have a Hikrobot ID3000 industrial scanner hooked up to my network over Ethernet. The Windows PC it should talk to already has the official Hikrobot drivers and software installed, yet the device never appears in the utility—so it’s almost certainly an IP or subnet mismatch.
I’ll open a remote-control session (TeamViewer, AnyDesk or similar) so you can jump straight onto the machine, adjust the network settings, and prove the scanner is reachable. Once the scanner shows up and a quick test read succeeds, the job is done.
Acceptance criteria:
• Hikrobot discovery tool lists the scanner without manual refresh tricks
• A live barcode read streams correctly into the PC application
• All changes documented so I can replicate them later
