I need a professional to enhance the security of my small business network by setting up a firewall. The primary focus is on implementing an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) to protect against potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure a firewall to fortify network security.
- Implement an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS).
- Assist in setting up Aruba Instant On switches and access points.
Network Details:
- The network will cater to more than 50 devices.
Ideal Skills:
- Extensive experience in network security and firewall configuration.
- Proficient in setting up Aruba Instant On equipment.
- Knowledgeable about Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
- Able to manage a network with over 50 devices.
New network security policies will need to be created. Ensure minimal remote access is configured. Limited support will be needed for a short period after the initial setup. The expected time frame for this project is 1-2 weeks. The firewall brand to be set up is Sonicwall. Remote access should be limited to administrators only. Include periodic performance reports to monitor the network. Please provide weekly detailed reports for performance monitoring. No specific requirements for the Intrusion Prevention System (IPS).
