About the Product:
We’re building a high-performance network optimization tool aimed at reducing latency, stabilizing connections, and improving routing for gamers—similar to ExitLag. The goal is to ensure smooth, lag-free gaming experiences across global servers for competitive and casual players alike.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop core software to optimize network routing, reduce packet loss, and lower ping for online games.
Build secure, scalable VPN/tunneling systems optimized for gaming traffic.
Work with low-level networking protocols (TCP/UDP) to manipulate routing in real time.
Integrate multi-path routing and failover mechanisms to ensure continuous connection.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate the system into a user-friendly interface.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and deploy regular updates.
Work on automation for game server detection and routing algorithms.
Stay updated on the latest gaming networks, anti-cheat mechanisms, and VPN evasion methods.
Requirements:
Proven experience in network programming and low-latency systems.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, VPN protocols (OpenVPN, WireGuard, etc.), and routing techniques.
Proficiency in C/C++, Rust, Go, or other systems-level languages.
Experience working with Linux networking, firewall management, and kernel-level networking is a plus.
Familiarity with gaming network behaviors (e.g., League of Legends, Valorant, CS2, etc.).
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical architecture.
Nice to Have:
Experience reverse-engineering or analyzing how games communicate with servers.
Knowledge of DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) and network protocol fingerprinting.
Past work on similar products like ExitLag, NoPing, Mudfish, or WTFast.
Experience with game server emulation, proxies, or VPN infrastructure.
