Data Center Technician Needed for Installations

I'm seeking a Data Center Technician to assist with the installation of a variety of equipment, including servers, appliances routers and switches, in various data center co-location facilities. This role will be sporadic and on an as-needed basis, so flexibility is key.

Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of servers, routers, switches, appliances, cabling, and SAN/storage
- Cable installation, labelling, organization and management
- Providing remote access via local consoles
- Break/fix of equipment as necessary
- Must be able to lift 40lbs safely

Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced Data Center Technician
- Basic understanding of servers, network appliances, routers and switches
- Familiar with data center equipment including racks, PDUs, cable management and cooling
- Neat and efficient at performing cable management tasks
- Capable of basic troubleshooting and replacing server & networking components
- Can supply their own laptop, console cables and installation tools
- Flexible and available for sporadic work as needed

Technicians do not need to be able to travel. Applicants should apply for work in either of the cities. Exact addresses to be provided once available.
