I am in need of a seasoned network engineer who can proficiently plan and execute a migration to a new data center for my mixed operating system servers. The project involves migrating both physical servers and virtual machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and recommend an appropriate data center
- Oversee the procurement of necessary equipment, which may include network switches, firewalls, and potentially a VPS or VM
- Execute the migration, ensuring a seamless transition
- Connect us to our VPN server
- Troubleshoot and resolve any arising issues during the process
Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive experience with network engineering and data center migrations
- Proficient in handling both physical servers and virtual machines
