Data Center Engineer Twinsburg & Billerica
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I’m looking for an experienced data-centre engineer who can be on site in both Twinsburg, OH and Billerica, MA on agreed dates to handle a straightforward rack-and-stack assignment. The job is entirely physical layer: unboxing, racking, cabling, powering up and basic hardware health checks for a mix of servers, network switches and storage units that are already pre-configured.
You will be my hands in the room, so I’ll provide a detailed rack elevation, port map and serial list ahead of time. Once everything is mounted and powered, a quick visual verification call with me is required so we can confirm link lights, PSU status and airflow direction before I close the change record.
Deliverables (all must be met for sign-off)
• All servers, switches and storage devices securely installed in the designated racks, cable-managed and labelled as per the diagram
• Photos of each cabinet (front and rear) and a completed asset sheet with serial numbers
• 15-minute remote walkthrough with me to verify power and network connectivity
Tools on site are provided, though feel free to bring your own favourites for torque or cable testing if you prefer. The entire task should fit comfortably in a single shift at each location.
