Cybersecurity (kali and windows7 ) on Virtual Machine

The skills you will be demonstrating will be, but not limited to:
- Analytical writing
- Network analysis
- Port scanning
- Risk analysis
- OS Hardening
- Exploitation

This machine is a CTF machine designed specifically for my work. This machine will be referred to as the target for the rest of this document in the Virtual machine.

you can reach it via ping successfully.
-You will not be given any credentials for the target and you will be required to gain access to
the target to complete the project.
-On the target machine there is a “user” file and a “root” file.
-Risk Analysis of System: (75%)
Once you have gained access to the target, you will be able to look at every aspect of the
target. Depending on your level of access you will be able to look at more.
the task will be to find 20 things on the target machine that demonstrate poor security.
For each of your 20 vulnerabilities, need to answer questions for my work
- Why is this a vulnerability?
- How do we fix it
