CentOS 7 Routing Repair

Job ID: 39736403

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

My CentOS 7 box has two physical NICs, each on a separate subnet, and traffic is regularly taking the wrong path. I’m running pure static routing; there’s no dynamic protocol in play. I need someone to audit the current configuration, identify why packets are being sent down the incorrect interface, and put precise route statements in place so the server consistently knows which network to use for every destination.

You’ll likely be editing /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts, ip rule / ip route tables, and possibly touching firewalld or iptables if policy routing is required. Once the changes are made, I want to see:

• A clean, commented routing table that survives reboot
• A brief note of every file altered (before/after backup included)
• A simple test plan I can follow to confirm each network flows as intended

If you’re comfortable troubleshooting split-NIC CentOS installs and can wrap this up quickly, let’s get started.
