Aruba 9240 Captive Portal Setup

The Aruba 9240 controller at my site is already online and managing our wireless networks; what it still lacks is a fully functional guest-only captive portal. I need the portal turned on, configured and tested so that visitors are greeted with a branded login page and can sign in with a simple username-and-password flow.

Scope of work
• Enable and configure the built-in captive portal feature on the ArubaOS 10.x platform running on the 9240.
• Restrict the portal to the guest SSID only; employee networks must remain untouched.
• Implement local or external authentication (whichever you recommend for speed and security) that prompts for username and password.
• Apply our logo and colour palette to the portal so it matches our brand guidelines. No other custom elements are required right now.
• Verify end-to-end connectivity: association, redirect, authentication, DHCP, and internet breakout.
• Supply a brief document or annotated screenshots so we can replicate the setup on future controllers.

You’ll receive CLI and GUI access via a secure remote session and can schedule maintenance windows with me as needed. Once the test phone and laptop can browse the internet through the guest SSID and show the custom-branded login page, the job is complete.
