Adjust tv to make VPN work

As a new user just getting into setting up a VPN, I'm in need of some assistance. I have a Smart TV and have set up ExpressVPN so that I can access UK tv. I need someone to help me adjust settings, configure everything correctly, and make sure the VPN is working properly.
