Access to DD-WRT router from outside the LAN. No public IP
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a small network, including some servers behind ISP by DD-WRT router. I need access to that network outside of the office. There is no public IP is available for the purpose. Therefore, DDNS is not helpful.
I am trying to connect the DD-WRT router to the free OpenVPN account, but having trouble with this. I have followed the instructions on the OpenVPN website, but the router does not seem to be connected.
I do not have to use OpenVPN, but I can use any other service if you will suggest one. But I think OpenVPN is the simplest solution (and it is free for up to 3 client connections).
All I need is to get access to the router from the outside, while no public ID is available. Any simple suggestions besides OpenVPN are welcome.
Is anyone willing to take me through the setup? I will be able to give you remote access to the network using ZOOM.
I need to finish the setup tonight or tomorrow morning. I am in the EST time zone (New York Time Zone).
