NetSuite Consultant and Implementation Specialist
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I am looking to hire a NetSuite ERP Implementation Consultant on a six-month contract (with strong potential for extension) engagement in Toronto, ON! The successful candidate will work with our client and assist them with the implementation and configuration of NetSuite ERP solutions. It requires skilled customer interaction and an ability to provide technically advanced solutions to simplify operations.
Project:
The client is currently looking to move away from a AS400 system. They are interested in an experienced professional with experience in reducing the cost of supporting and maintaining AS400 applications through successful Netsuite migrations. This is coupled with the need to enable faster application delivery, gain clear visibility into how IT impacts the business, and reduce manual effort.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work with the team who owns the AS400 application and understand and document the migration path. This first step in the AS400 migration onto NetSuite will be crucial as it will provide the map on which all future migration activities will take place and will also be used to communicate to management the full scope of such migration project
- Meet with business leaders, decision makers and end users to define business requirements and systems goals.
- Design and configuration of NetSuite ERP solutions - Providing training to client staff to perform day-to-day activities in support of ERP implementations
- Perform complex business and systems analysis work, root cause analysis and provide forward thinking, long term technical solutions; conduct requirements gathering/analysis.
- Document and develop business processes flows, requirements, and design though NetSuite data mapping.
- Create, customize, and manage NetSuite fields, workflows, roles/permissions, custom objects, custom records, scripts, reports, saved searches, dashboards, etc.
- Assist in the ongoing administration of NetSuite and systems as part of a team effort
- create/ modify user roles and permissions, item configuration, workflows, custom fields, custom records, dashboards, advanced templates, multibook entities, searches, reporting changes, related administration duties, etc.
- Apply current knowledge of IT trends and systems processes to identify security and risk management issues and other opportunities for overall process improvement, like cleaning up legacy data, etc.
- Architect solutions for complex business requirements, which may include configuration and/or integration and/or technical components, in partnership with our development team.
- Provide on-going post implementation support to optimize user adoption and NetSuite configuration.
- Continue to increase product knowledge and pursue relevant certifications.
Skills You're Bringing
- 10+ years of overall relevant experience in application-centric functional or technical roles.
- Minimum 10+ years of NetSuite ERP consulting experience, including full cycle NetSuite ERP implementation consulting experience coupled with a comprehensive understanding of ERP applications
- Strong knowledge and relevant experience with the AS400
- NetSuite certifications would be considered a strong asset
- Self-motivated, able to work alone and in teams, articulate, and able to inspire confidence in audiences.
- Knowledge of several different modules and functional areas of NetSuite such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HRM, CRM etc.
- Process analysis, redesign, and documentation experience
- Exemplary record of achievement.
- Leadership and initiative abilities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in an environment of pressing deadlines.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to determine causes and produce effective solutions.
