need a fast way to search an product name from huge online database .net windows application

I am in need of a .NET Windows application that can quickly search a large online database for product names for inventory management purposes. The ideal candidate should have experience with .NET Framework and be familiar with SQL Server databases. The application should be able to handle a high volume of searches efficiently.
