Audacity macro to use the timing of the Note Track to make new pitch tracks from a wav/mp3 file
Inputs File.mid File.wav or file.mp3
Procedures
1. synchronize the midi and audio files
2. Convert file.wav/mp3 from stereo to mono
3. Use the timing on the note track (note on-note off ) to make new tracks for each pitch by copying the audio information from the file.wav/mp3 file. ie when a3 is played, copy the audio track to a new track labelled A3-16 (A3 is the pitch and 16 is the channel track in the note track)
