Native Bilinguals for NLP Training
Budget: $250 – $500 USD
I’m assembling a small team of native or near-native bilinguals who can work with me on cutting-edge natural language processing research. The project involves providing language data that will be used exclusively for AI training, so an authentic accent and idiomatic command of each language you speak are crucial.
If you are completely fluent—meaning your speech carries little to no foreign accent—in two or more of the following languages, I’d like to hear from you: Japanese, Malay, Russian, Polish, Cantonese, Dutch, English, Spanish, Turkish, Portuguese, Hindi, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Bengali, Tagalog, Arabic, Korean, Chinese, Italian, French, or German.
You’ll be asked to complete a series of short, well-defined tasks that feed our NLP models—think sentence rewriting, contextual paraphrasing, or nuanced judgment calls on word choice. The work is flexible, can be done remotely, and is compensated generously at roughly $250–$500 per productive hour, depending on task complexity and the rarity of your language pairing.
To move forward, please state the exact languages in which you have native or near-native proficiency, give a quick line on how you acquired each (heritage, schooling, professional use, etc.), and confirm that you can record clean audio if needed. I’ll follow up with a short evaluation script so we can validate accent neutrality and linguistic range before onboarding you to the full data-collection cycle.
