Android SaaS AI Assistant App

I’m building a subscription-based Android app that delivers AI-driven lifestyle assistance. The app’s focus is on natural, context-aware conversation that adapts to the user’s routines, preferences, and needs—offering quick voice or text responses, smart suggestions, and seamless integration with calendars, emails, notes, and other services. Think of it as a personal AI companion for daily productivity and wellness.
Scope of Work
I’m looking for an experienced mobile engineer to take this concept through to a polished Google Play release, including:
Android application: Modern Material 3 UI, intuitive onboarding, secure in-app subscription management, and GDPR-/CCPA-compliant consent flows.
AI layer: Flexible NLP (server-side or on-device) leveraging OpenAI, Dialogflow, or similar, capable of model swapping for performance or cost optimization.
Cloud backend: Scalable, multi-tenant system (Firebase, AWS Amplify, or equivalent) to manage user accounts, usage analytics, and admin operations.
Admin dashboard: Web-based panel for managing subscription plans, monitoring app usage, and broadcasting updates.
Deliverables: Complete source code, build scripts, basic unit tests, and concise documentation for setup and deployment.
Acceptance Criteria
Conversation loop returns relevant, context-aware answers with <1.5s latency on average.
Subscription enforcement activates after the free-trial quota is consumed.
App meets Play Store review standards and is ready for open testing.
While the first launch is Android-only, the architecture should be modular to support iOS in the future without major rewrites. Input on additional personal-assistance features—task management, reminders, fitness, or wellness tracking—is welcome during discovery.
