Nanomaterial Synthesis Expertise Needed

Job ID: 39858987

Budget: $10 – $30 AUD

I’m preparing a new research program centred on the synthesis and fabrication of advanced nanomaterials and need a specialist who can translate theory into a robust, repeatable lab-scale process. You should be fully at ease with the underlying physics and chemistry that govern nucleation, growth, surface functionalisation and post-processing, and able to tailor parameters—temperature, precursors, ligands, atmosphere, substrate, flow, or reaction time—to reach narrowly defined size distributions and morphologies.

What I will supply
• The target composition, desired particle size range and performance metrics
• Existing literature references and any preliminary data already gathered
• Access to lab equipment (standard wet-chemistry facilities, furnace, sonicator, glovebox, CVD reactor) and safety protocols

What I need from you
• A step-by-step synthesis route including reagent grades, concentrations, timings and environmental controls
• Clear justification of each step rooted in solid-state physics/chemistry so the method is teachable to junior staff
• Troubleshooting guidelines and critical control points to keep yields and reproducibility high
• A concise report summarising outcomes, supported by raw data (mass balance, yield, TEM/SEM images if generated, etc.)

Acceptance criteria
1. The protocol produces the target nanomaterial within the specified size distribution at ≥90 % yield across three independent batches.
2. All steps are documented clearly enough for another researcher to follow without additional clarification.
3. You are available for one follow-up call to discuss scale-up considerations.

techniques, plus instrumentation you routinely operate. Let’s turn a good idea into a reproducible procedure.
