n8n Workflow Automation Build & Deploy

Our current n8n proof-of-concept must evolve into a production-ready workflow platform focused on building the automation system itself. The core use cases are task automation and notification triggers, with Notion as a mandatory integration alongside the usual REST endpoints and possible Airtable or PostgreSQL data stores.

What I need you to do
• Refactor the existing POC workflows into clean, modular n8n flows and code nodes (JavaScript) that meet production standards.
• Implement and thoroughly test the Notion integration plus any supporting REST/Notion/PostgreSQL connectors required.
• Add multi-stage approval logic, robust error handling, and activity logging.
• Harden security (credential management, RBAC, SSL) and ensure GDPR-aware data handling.
• Containerise everything with Docker, deploy on a Linux server, and set up a staging → production pipeline that can scale horizontally.

Tools & knowledge you will draw on
n8n (workflows, webhooks, custom code nodes), JavaScript, Linux, Docker, REST APIs, Notion/PostgreSQL. Familiarity with low-code stacks such as NocoDB is a plus.

How to move forward
Send over 2–3 n8n projects you have shipped (brief description or screenshots), your rate, and your earliest availability. Short-listed profiles will join a 30-minute call and complete a brief paid test task before we lock in the contract. Hyderabad or Bengaluru time zones are preferred for collaboration, though strong remote candidates are welcome.

Acceptance criteria
• All specified workflows run reliably under load with zero unhandled errors.
• Deployment is reproducible via Docker Compose (or similar) with clear README instructions.
• Security checks pass an external audit review.
• Documentation covers setup, environment variables, scaling steps, and rollback procedures.
