WhatsApp n8n Gemini Prototype Setup

I’m building a small prototype called “Telugu AI Companion”—a WhatsApp bot that taps into n8n, Google Sheets, and the Google Gemini API. The bot should comfortably answer user queries and send automated follow-ups, all from a Meta Developer Sandbox number.

Current progress
• Meta developer account and sandbox number are ready.
• An initial n8n workflow exists, but the webhook node still needs to be wired correctly to WhatsApp Cloud API.
• Sheets and Gemini steps are drafted but not yet live-tested.

What I need now is a clean end-to-end link:

1. Configure WhatsApp Cloud API so messages hit the n8n webhook without errors.
2. Fine-tune that webhook node to parse incoming text, pass it to Gemini, and route the response back to WhatsApp.
3. Log each interaction (question, Gemini reply, timestamp) in a Google Sheet for easy demo reporting.

Acceptance is straightforward: when I send a message from my phone, the bot replies with Gemini’s answer, and the exchange appears in the sheet—all within a single run of the workflow.

This is purely for a short video demo, so speed and concise documentation are more valuable than heavy production hardening. If you’re comfortable with n8n, WhatsApp Cloud API, and quick prototype plumbing, let’s get this wrapped up.
