N8N WhatsApp Bot Automation

I need an N8N-integrated WhatsApp bot
Each business has its own WhatsApp number. Chatwoot is used as the mandatory CRM for message management, escalation, and traceability. The bot built in n8n handles all scheduling logic in a fully automated flow.
MINIMUM REQUIRED NODES
Node 1 – WhatsApp Entry Point
Client sends a message via WhatsApp (e.g., “I'd like to book an appointment this Thursday afternoon”).
Node 2 – Evolution API
Receives the WhatsApp message and forwards it to Chatwoot.
Node 3 – Chatwoot
Displays the incoming message in the correct inbox (based on WhatsApp number) and triggers a Webhook to n8n.
Node 4 – Webhook in n8n
Receives data: message text, client number, and business number.
Node 5 – Google Sheets Lookup
Searches the shared file to match the business WhatsApp number and retrieve:
- Business Name
- Google Calendar ID
- Appointment duration.
Google Sheets structure (one shared file):
WhatsApp Number | Business Name | Calendar ID | Appointment Duration
Node 6 – GPT (AI Agent)
Understands intent and extracts requested date/time. If unclear, asks client for clarification or offers options.
Node 7 – Google Calendar Availability
Checks if the requested time is free. If not, proposes alternatives.
Node 8 – Google Calendar Event Creation
Schedules the appointment with the correct duration and customer details.
Node 9 – Chatwoot Response
Sends confirmation back to the client via Chatwoot with final schedule. All interactions are logged and visible to the business team.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Experience with n8n (minimum 10 bots successfully built)
Familiarity with automation tools and workflow orchestration
Ability to set up and manage AI-powered chatbots
