n8n Telegram Welcome Bot

Inside my Telegram group I want an automated, n8n-powered workflow that instantly recognises when a new member joins, greets them, and then nudges them again a few minutes later.

Core flow
• New-member event is caught the moment someone joins and the bot, acting as an admin, posts a welcome message that includes links to four specific Telegram channels.
• Exactly four minutes later the bot follows up with a second, different reminder message.

Flexibility
Both messages and the four destination links must be easy for me to edit without touching code—environment variables, an n8n UI node, or any similarly straightforward method works fine as long as the steps are documented.

What I expect to receive
1. A fully functioning Telegram bot (or n8n workflow using the Telegram node) deployed on my server or an n8n cloud space—your call as long as it runs reliably.
2. A brief, step-by-step guide that shows me how to:
– add the bot to any group/channel and grant admin rights
– update message text and channel links
– adjust the 4-minute delay if I ever need to

If you prefer to prototype outside n8n first, that’s okay, but the final delivery must sit inside n8n so I can maintain it myself. Clear, concise instructions and clean node organisation will be the key acceptance criteria.
