Technical Support for n8n Automation
Budget: $1,499 – $1,500 USD
Role Purpose
To act as the Architect’s support—executing technical and operational tasks, building and maintaining n8n automations, handling day-to-day IT needs, and supporting delivery across all core transaction systems (CRM, FSM, Accounting, Inventory).
Key Responsibilities
Work directly with the Architect to action assigned tasks, research new solutions, and implement them quickly and accurately.
Build, test, deploy, and maintain n8n flows across CRM, FSM, Accounting, and Inventory systems.
Troubleshoot technical issues across automation flows, databases, and integrations; escalate where necessary and document resolutions.
Maintain and improve internal IT systems, including account provisioning, integrations, access management, and system monitoring.
Support client projects by handling data exports/imports, designing API integrations, and ensuring data consistency across systems.
Manage updates and hygiene across ClickUp (tasks), GitHub (repos), Postman (API collections), and related collaboration tools.
Create, update, and maintain SOPs and technical runbooks to ensure repeatable, scalable processes.
Assist with DevOps-related activities such as environment configuration, secrets management, and small infrastructure tasks under guidance.
Provide responsive support during UAT, cutovers, and hypercare periods, including after-hours monitoring if required.
Skills & Experience
1–3 years in IT, automation, or support engineering roles with exposure to system integrations.
Practical experience building flows in n8n (or similar platforms like Make/Zapier).
Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and JSON data structures.
Competence with SQL basics, relational databases, and handling structured data.
Practical knowledge of GitHub (version control), Postman (API testing), and cloud-based tools (Supabase, GCP, or similar).
Bonus: exposure to Docker, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines.

Flexible schedule, but with 3–4 hours/day overlap in SAST & EST.
