# n8n Recruiting Automation — Build Completion (Contract)

We're hiring an experienced **n8n developer** to complete a recruiting/ATS automation system that's roughly half-built. The architecture is sound and the core intake pipeline already works end-to-end — we need someone to finish the candidate-facing workflows, clear a few credential blockers, and harden the workspace for production. This is **completion work, not greenfield**.

## What's already working
- Email intake → AI classification → ATS job posting (end-to-end)
- ATS job creation and candidate fetch via API
- Application listener with phone validation and welcome-SMS trigger (pending SMS carrier registration)
- Event logging and flag-for-review routing to Google Sheets

## Scope of work
- **Credential & config unblocks** — re-authenticate an expired email OAuth credential, fix a broken Google Sheets reference, and finalize Twilio A2P 10DLC SMS registration.
- **Workspace hygiene** — consolidate duplicate credentials, move an inline API key into the credential store, switch AI nodes to our own Anthropic API key with a spend cap, and move workflows into a shared project scope.
- **Intake parsers** — deterministic email-body and Excel-attachment parsers, plus a sender-domain/subject classifier and an internal web-form webhook handler.
- **Conversational SMS agent** — inbound SMS handler / AI agent (Claude) with prompt caching to run a short candidate pre-screen conversation.
- **Pre-screen grading** — grading workflow using structured (JSON-schema) outputs, writing results to Sheets.
- **Compliance off-ramps** — STOP / WITHDRAW / PRIVACY / legal-escalation handling.
- **Offer & e-sign** — offer-letter generation and an e-signature flow.
- **Background-check orchestration** — Checkr (or similar) integration through the ATS, including an FCRA "Consider" adjudication path.
- **New-hire handoff** — new-hire form generation and delivery to operations.
- **Weekly digest** — scheduled metrics summary email.
- **System health alerts** — low-balance, AI-spend, stalled-background-check, and workflow-failure alerts.

## Required skills
- Strong, demonstrable **n8n** experience (workflows, sub-workflows, error handling)
- REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth integrations
- **Twilio** (SMS, A2P 10DLC), an ATS such as **JazzHR**, and a background-check provider such as **Checkr**
- **LLM / AI-agent workflows** (Anthropic Claude) — tool calling, prompt caching, structured outputs
- Google Workspace (Sheets, Forms, Gmail)
- Comfortable working from a written technical brief and acceptance criteria

**Nice to have:** familiarity with hiring/recruiting compliance (FCRA, TCPA / A2P, data-privacy basics).
