Phase-1 n8n Order Automation (Google Sheets)

I need Phase 1 of my delivery operations system set up in n8n and tightly integrated with Google Sheets.
For now the scope is intentionally lean: handle order management and status updates only, but build it in a way that can scale when I add WhatsApp, OCR, and dashboards in later phases.

Google Sheets
• Design two clear, normalized worksheets—Orders and Drivers.
• Implement automations that add new incoming orders and update existing ones based on order ID.
• Track the three statuses I use today: Delivered, Failed, and Rescheduled.

n8n Workflows
• Create simple, well-named workflows that push and pull from Sheets.
• Route all errors into a dedicated “Errors” sheet for easy triage.
• Comment nodes and include a brief markdown doc so I can extend the logic later.

No external messaging, OCR, or dashboard work is needed right now. If this phase performs smoothly I’ll roll straight into the next build, so please highlight any past n8n or similar low-code automation projects in your reply and outline how you’d keep the solution both simple and future-proof.
