Project Title:
Development of 3 Automation POCs (n8n + WhatsApp) for Microfinance Operations
Project Overview:
I am looking for an automation expert to build 3 functional Proofs of Concept (POCs) using n8n and the WhatsApp Business API.
The goal is to test the technical feasibility of automating administrative tasks for small microfinance institutions. This is an exploratory phase with a focus on cost-efficiency and technical robustness.
Tech Stack:
Workflow Automation: n8n (Self-hosted or Cloud).
Messaging: WhatsApp Business API (Official or Sandbox/Gateway like Waha for testing).
Database: Airtable.
Storage: Google Drive.
AI: OpenAI API (GPT-4o/Mini) for OCR, classification, and parsing.
Scope of Work (3 Use Cases):
1. Smart Document Archiving (Agent Tool)
Objective: Develop a smart document archiving system using n8n and WhatsApp with robust error handling, strict file naming, PDF conversion, and Airtable indexation.
Flow: An agent sends a document photo via WhatsApp -> Bot asks for Account Number & Document Type (interactive buttons) -> Bot converts image to PDF -> Renames file standardly ({Account}_{Type}_{Date}.pdf) -> Uploads to specific Google Drive folder -> Logs entry in Airtable.
2. Claims & Ticketing System (Client Tool)
Objective: Implement a claims and ticketing system that utilizes AI for sentiment analysis, transcription (Whisper), and structured data entry (JSON) into Airtable.
Flow: Client sends voice/text complaint -> AI transcribes & analyzes sentiment/category -> Bot creates ticket in Airtable -> Sends Ticket ID to client -> Notifies support team.
3. Loan Application & Pre-scoring (Client Tool)
Objective: Create a guided loan application and pre-scoring tool featuring OCR for ID extraction and conditional logic to filter out ineligible applicants early.
Flow: Trigger word "LOAN" -> Bot sends document checklist -> Bot asks pre-qualification questions (Income, Debt, etc.) -> Conditional Logic stops process if ineligible -> If qualified, Bot asks for ID photos -> AI performs OCR (extracts name/DOB) -> Bot generates a summary PDF -> Updates Airtable with a "Pre-score".
Budget & Constraints:
This is a POC (Proof of Concept), not a full production enterprise software yet.
We need simple, effective solutions that minimize ongoing costs.
Deliverables must include the JSON workflow files (for n8n) and a short video proving functionality.
Ideal Freelancer Profile:
Expert in n8n complex workflows.
Experience with WhatsApp API (handling media, interactive buttons, state management).
Familiar with OpenAI API integration for JSON structuring and OCR.
