We’re building an advanced Slack chatbot powered by N8N. The base automation is done, but we’re stuck on one key challenge.
Here’s what we need:

Current situation
We already have a working Slack bot integrated with N8N. The flow works fine except for one key point:
When the user needs to input a response (e.g. make a choice or provide information), we currently redirect them to a web form.
But that’s not what we want.

Goal
We want the user to stay inside Slack at all times. They should be able to respond directly in the conversation with the bot, and the automation should:
• Capture the user’s response in real time
• Continue the N8N flow based on this input
• Track all session data (answers, choices, paths followed)

Requirements
We’re looking for someone who can:
• Build or connect real-time Slack input capture (interactive components, message shortcuts, buttons, etc.)
• Create session tracking logic inside N8N (user-specific state)
• Help us structure the flow for a smooth conversation UX
• Guide us if we need to use custom functions or external modules (e.g. Redis, Firebase)

• Experience with Slack API & Slack bots
• Fluent with N8N
• Familiar with session handling logic / state management
• Good communication (English)
• Bonus: knowledge of webhooks, Redis, or Firebase

• Clean, documented setup
