AI Engineer – Phase A of Phase 1 MVP (Lead Generation Engine)

About the Project
This is for my self usage, I want to make my own automated lead gen system, bringing to life a lean, agile AI-powered lead generation engine, and we’re looking for an AI-engineering expert to own and deliver Phase A of Phase 1, using only Google and basic search/scraping—no paid enterprise data sources.

Key Responsibilities (full flow will be provided by me after first meeting)
• Design and implement a clean UI for inputting:
o 1–10 keywords
o Geographic filters (single/multiple countries)
o Company filter tags (predefined + custom text-based)
• Set up a job queue (e.g., Celery, Temporal) for reliable, asynchronous processing
• Build a search and scraping engine using Google (via SerpAPI or custom scripts) to discover companies based on keywords and filters
• Develop an enrichment pipeline to extract:
o Company details: name, website, country, industry
o Decision-makers: CEO, CTO, CMO, etc., with LinkedIn URLs
o Public email addresses with confidence scoring
• Create a CSV/Excel exporter that outputs clean, deduplicated, timestamped results
• Integrate a user feedback mechanism for lead quality (thumbs-up/down, notes)
• Handle basic anti-scraping techniques (retry backoff, proxy rotation, user agent variation)

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years backend development in Python, Node.js, N8 or similar
• Strong experience with web scraping
• Knowledge of job queue systems
• Experience parsing and applying custom text filters to scraped content
• Familiarity with data processing pipelines that deliver clean exports (CSV/XLSX)
• Understanding of anti-scraping best practices (rate limiting, proxies, CAPTCHAs)
