n8n Automation for Hostel Bookings
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I run an online hostel-booking platform and I’m ready to move several repetitive tasks out of spreadsheets and into n8n. The goals are clear:
• Instantly confirm every new reservation pulled from the booking system, update its status, and write the confirmation back.
• Push each transaction to our payment gateway, capture the response, and mark the booking paid (or flag issues) automatically.
• Trigger timely customer notifications—booking updates, payment receipts, and occasional promotional offers—via both email and WhatsApp so guests hear from us on the channel they prefer.
All four integrations are already live in production (booking system, payment gateway, email service, and WhatsApp service); you’ll connect them through n8n without disrupting current traffic. I’ll provide API keys, test accounts, and webhook endpoints.
Deliverables
1. Reusable, commented n8n workflows for the three processes above.
2. Environment-agnostic configuration so I can port the flows from staging to production with a single variable file.
3. A short Loom walk-through and markdown doc explaining node logic, error handling, and how to add new notification templates.
Acceptance criteria
• End-to-end sandbox test shows a reservation created, paid, and messaged through both email and WhatsApp in under 60 seconds.
• All failures routed to a dedicated “manual review” queue with a clear error message.
• No hard-coded credentials.
If you’ve built similar automation (especially around booking or e-commerce flows) and enjoy squeezing every ounce of efficiency out of n8n nodes, let’s talk—this project should be straightforward for the right person and I’d love to get it live this month.
