Automated n8n News Pipeline
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m setting up an internal news-radar and need an end-to-end n8n workflow that will:
• Pull fresh content from newspapers, podcasts, websites, industry reports, government notifications and competitor updates (RSS, APIs or web-scraping modules—whatever suits each source best).
• Identify and drop duplicates with a reliable hash or URL-matching step so that only unique items move forward.
• Pass every remaining article through OpenAI GPT to produce a short, plain-language summary plus a quick analytical angle (why it matters, likely impact).
• Publish the cleaned-up summary, the original link and a one-line “insight” directly into a dedicated Slack channel via webhook.
Acceptance criteria
• The flow runs on a schedule I can adjust in n8n (default: every hour).
• No duplicate headline or URL appears in Slack within a 48-hour window.
• GPT summaries stay under 200 words and include a bolded insight sentence.
• All credentials, API keys and environment variables are stored in the n8n credential manager, not hard-coded.
Deliverables
1. Exported n8n workflow (JSON) with clear node labels.
2. Brief README explaining source configuration and how to add new feeds.
3. Screenshot or short Loom video showing a live test from source fetch to Slack post.
