rfid /photographing / mysql dB database

This project is to write a piece of software to take a picture when an rfid tag is detected. The picture would be stored in a common directory. A mysql database would then be updated to show this new entry.

This is a standalone process so it can be coded in any language or O/S. We primarily use Ubuntu but windows is also acceptable.

High resolution images (2k or more) are needed. This is an archiving project where thousands of the same items are photographed and logged.
