WordPress Frontend & Backend Bugfix
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m looking for a WordPress specialist who can jump into both the public-facing pages and the wp-admin area of my site and clear up a set of stubborn issues.
Frontend
• Display / layout glitches are throwing off the look and feel on several templates.
• Certain interactive elements have stopped responding as intended, so core functionality is inconsistent for visitors.
Backend
• A few admin functions return errors or simply fail to save changes.
• The dashboard has become noticeably sluggish, especially when switching between menus or updating posts.
• Some user roles no longer have the permissions they should, locking team members out of tasks they normally handle.
What I need from you
1. Diagnose the root cause of each problem above and document the fixes.
2. Apply code, theme, or plugin corrections so the site renders correctly on the front end and the admin area runs smoothly.
3. Optimise queries or configuration to restore normal speed in the dashboard.
4. Verify that role-based access is restored without compromising security.
5. Provide a short hand-off note outlining the changes made and any follow-up recommendations.
The site runs the latest stable WordPress core on a popular premium theme, with several widely used plugins (WooCommerce, Elementor, Yoast) in the mix. Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, and common debugging tools such as Query Monitor or Debug Bar will be useful.
Once the fixes are in place I will test across desktop and mobile; payment is released when the layout looks right, key features work for end users, and the admin side is fast and fully accessible again.
