WordPress Developer for Seamless Payment Redirection
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We need a skilled developer experienced with WordPress and payment gateway integrations to build a seamless order-to-payment redirection flow between two websites:
Project Details:
Website A (WordPress): Hosts products/orders but has no active payment processor.
Website B (WordPress or custom-ready): Has an active hosted payment solution (e.g., Stripe/PayPal Checkout. Actual payment processor will be disclosed with the hired candidate).
Workflow:
1. A user places an order on Website A (via WooCommerce or custom form).
2. They are redirected to a hosted payment page (from Website B).
3. Payment is completed (hosted page on Website B).
4. User is redirected back to Website A (with order ID and payment confirmation).
5. The payment processor should have no awareness of Website A.
Objectives:
Preserve Website B’s identity throughout the payment.
No visible or backend linkage to Website A on the hosted payment page.
Use secure server-side communications between the two sites.
Nice to Have:
Ability to reconfigure Website B if needed (can shift off WordPress).
Logging and alert system for failed payments.
Ideal Skills:
WordPress/WooCommerce customization
Payment integrations (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, etc.)
PHP/MySQL
API/Webhook development
Security (JWTs, nonce, tokens)
Application Instructions: Please include:
Portfolio/examples of payment gateway projects
Outline of your approach to hide Website A's identity
Estimated timeline and cost
Please include the word ‘pineapple’ at the top of your proposal to confirm you’ve read the full brief.
