Venture Capital Portfolio CRM

We would like to get a private Portfolio CRM alike database where we could manage data entry, search tools, record access and modifications, multiple reporting options and CSV or Excel exporting. Nothing really sophisticated but must be built on an SQL database with an easy to use and widely adopted frontend development and management tool (zoho or other?). The idea is that we want to be able to modify the data entry forms later to adapt the system to our evolving needs.
