Shipping Invoices System
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Functional Requirements:
It is required to implement a Shipping Invoices System (responsive web application) that acts as a mediator between shippers/consignees and the associated shipping lines. The system mainly consists of:
1- Sign In /Login (for users and customers)
2- Sign up for customers (name, email, tel., mobile, fax, etc.).
3- Ability to record visits(contracts).
4- Ability to record consignee/shipper data.
5- Ability to make a booking(specifying commodity, container data (serial no., weight, kind, description ), scheduled time, etc.)
6- Ability to make a duplicate booking
7- Search for a specific booking
8- Issue invoice [invoice_ID, invoice_desc, quantity, quantity_desc, VAT, total price before, total price after] according to a confirmed booking.
Note: All invoices must include QR codes
Reports and queries required are :
- Weekly visit report
- Inquiry report to shipping agent ( import / export)
- Print invoice from(invoice header and detail)
- Number of invoices issued for each customer (from-to date)
- Report of a particular visit
- Report of user (staff) visit
- Detailed report of a particular booking
- Financial state of invoice [invoice cost vs actual cost]
- Profitability statement [from-to date]
System steps:
1- A visit to the potential customer is to be made (viewing services provided and their prices). After which a contract is to be issued and signed between the designated parties.
2- Create a booking based on the details agreed upon by the customer and using expenses + containers tables.
Create all the expenses data in booking based on the visit.
3- Create invoice (details) based on booking details
