Ad Serving Engineer for Streaming Platform

I'm looking for a skilled engineer to be a part of the ads team for a large American streaming platform. The primary focus will be on Ad Serving, specifically optimizing for Real-time Bidding, Ad Optimization, and Traffic Management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain our high-performance, fault-tolerant ad serving system.
- Collaborate on real-time bidding strategies, ad optimization techniques, and traffic management solutions.
- Utilize MySQL for relational database tasks, contributing to system stability and efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of experience in Scala and other JVM technologies.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining low latency, high throughput systems.
- Experience with high performance systems and high fault tolerance.

Extras (Not Required but a Plus):
- Familiarity with Flink and Akka.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.

Skills & Experience:
- Strong Scala and JVM tech experience.
- Extensive relational DB knowledge.
- Ad Serving expertise highly desirable.
