I have two SQL views in a PostgreSQL database that are running slow. These views are responsible for fetching metadata about dependencies and access control lists. The goal is to optimize the queries for better performance.
What Needs to Be Done:
Analyze the existing SQL queries using EXPLAIN ANALYZE.
Identify bottlenecks and suggest optimizations (e.g., indexing, restructuring queries, materialized views).
Implement the optimized queries and provide before/after performance comparisons.
Deliverables:
Optimized SQL queries.
Performance report showing improvements (before & after).
A short explanation of the improvements made.
