Roles and Responsibilities
4+ years working as a database engineer or a related role.
Hands-on experience with SQL/Relational Database - MySQL
Strong MySQL expertise must be able to write complex & dynamic queries.
Expertise on DB (MYSQL) Function, Procedure, trigger, Event, Query Optimization, DB Performance tuning, DB Performance monitoring.
Writing optimized SQL Queries (MySQL).
Database tuning experience. Help us make our database faster by running diagnostics and doing query performance tuning.
Ability to work in an agile environment: Can address bugs with QA, plan schemas with engineering and respond quickly to other business needs.
Knowledge and know-how to troubleshoot potential issues and experience with best practices around database operations.
Experience with Amazon Web Services RDS offering(Mysql Aurora) is an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSc Computer Science or equivalent
Desired Candidate Profile
Testing and validating work produced as part of the development process.
Deep understanding of fundamental database design and architecture
Generate and test performance data
Monitor system performance and tuning of database queries
Develop & maintain a high performing, secure, scalable database design in MySQL
Maintain data warehousing processes and create reporting.
Documenting features, technical specifications & infrastructure requirements.
Familiarity with working on an Agile/Iterative development framework.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Fluent in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-starter with positive attitude with the ability to collaborate with product managers and developers
