We are looking for a freelance database expert to design and implement a MySQL database schema to automate the process of generating customized travel packages for our sales team. This schema will streamline the creation of trip packages for Kerala, varying by duration, place selection, and hotel type, allowing for dynamic PDF generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design a relational database schema in MySQL to store details for dynamic travel package generation, including:
Destinations (e.g., Kerala)
Travel information (travel dates, duration, and number of travelers—adults and children)
Place selections and day-wise itineraries (title, distance & duration, night stay, photo, description)
Accommodation options (room types, extra beds, CWB, CNB)
Vehicle options (vehicle categories and types)
Package categories (hotel categories, package types, and pricing)
Pricing details with markup options
PDF generation and report storage
Implement the schema using MySQL, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
Provide detailed documentation of the schema, including ER diagrams and table relationships.
Ensure the schema supports dynamic customization of packages and easy integration into our existing systems.
Requirements:
Proven experience in designing and implementing relational database schemas in MySQL.
Strong understanding of travel-related data structures (itineraries, accommodations, vehicles, etc.).
Proficiency in creating efficient, scalable table structures in MySQL.
Experience with ER diagrams and database documentation.
Ability to collaborate and make adjustments based on feedback.
Deliverables:
