Job Description:
Mobile application to search for party events near the user and on upcoming dates.
Features:
Basic
- Interactive map with events + marker with the user's location.
- Possibility of adding an event on the map.
- Database with all the events. Each event will have at least: the name, location (nightclub or local in which the event takes place), and info.
- When clicking on an event it appears the name and brief description (preview) and when sliding, the address, website, and information (visualization). Preview and visualization by clicking and then sliding. Like the example in the attached png.
Advanced
- Database of users.
- Profile. Edit profile.
- Adding ratings and experiences of other users when clicking on an event. The user will also be able to add his ratings and experiences.
- Adding friends from a button in their profiles - friend requests. Friends list. (Like Instagram)
- When clicking on an event the user will have the possibility to see a list of who, from your list of friends and other users, is interested in the clicked event.
- Users will be able to create posts (videos or photos). Users will have the option to choose who can view their posts.
The primary goal is to develop an application that reduces uncertainty for nightclub or party event attendees, particularly young people. In the initial versions, we also aim to include a social networking component where users can view profiles of their friends and others, as well as their party-related posts. In the future, we plan to enhance and improve the social networking aspect, but this is beyond the scope of this initial project.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in developing mobile apps for both iOS and Android platforms
- Expertise in creating social networking functionalities and features
- Proficiency in Swift and Java programming languages (or ability to adapt to the client's preferred programming language)
- Proficiency in databases (i.e. MySQL)
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles for mobile apps
- Knowledge of backend development and integration with APIs
- Ability to deliver high-quality, bug-free code within the specified timeline
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the client and provide regular updates on the progress of the project.
