Mirth Connection for Visitor Management

Hello, my company develops visitor management systems for schools/government. We are entering the healthcare workspace and would like to integrate with an HL7 source. It's our first time working with HL7 and wanted to go with Mirth Connect. At this time, we will be pulling just patient data for visit purposes (name, room number, etc) but in the future, we may need a bi-directional feed from SQL back to the HL7 source. Our current customer is a hospital in New York running All Scripts.
