MYSQL Time out on long query

I have upgraded from MySQL 5.7.17 to 8.0.31 and it went well all works except 1 query take about 32 seconds which is normal but it times out on my server at exactly 30 sec. Looking in the MYSQL .ini file but cannot seem to keep it from timing out.
